A letter from someone who really knows Sarah Palin...

I found this letter to be very interesting and a good insight into the personality and politics of Sarah Palin. Admittedly, the real person for running for President is John McCain, which everyone seems to have forgotten in the past few days (especially the Republicans judging by the convention last night), but this is none the less important. The Republicans are throwing a lot of claims out there about Mrs. Palin, but so far we have had little factual information to go on to back up their claims. It seems the more that is revealed about her the less she seems like a "maverick" and a "reformer" as she does a big oil proponent with a propensity for abuse of power and a penchance for bigger government.

This information is for the most part verified in articles in the MSM and ones like:

And for those that question who this Ann Kilkenny character is... and if she is even real, she is identified as a source in the following NYTimes article, so it's hard to claim this is a made up story by some anonymous person on the internet.

And how about that "I told the Congress "thanks, but no thanks," for that Bridge to Nowhere." line from Palin's speech last night?

Well it turns out.... it's a damn lie... or at least extremely misleading.

“Palin said Alaska’s congressional delegation worked hard to obtain funding for the bridge as part of a package deal and that she ‘would not stand in the way of the progress toward that bridge.”

Looks like she was all about it until the rest of the country got wind of this wasteful spending.
